    Lettieri's Expanding Sales through New Partnership

    Company teams up with Acosta Sales and Marketing Co.

    Lettieri's Inc. is partnering with Acosta Sales and Marketing Co. in a move that will expand the food manufacturer's sales network by more than 400 team members.

    Greg Dornbach, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Shakopee, Minn.-based Lettieri's, said the partnership with Acosta will significantly increase Lettieri's presence throughout the country and take the company to a whole new level.

    "Acosta is one of the preeminent sales and marketing firms in the convenience retail industry. Because of the growth we've experienced over the past several years, we felt that if we want to not only sustain -- but to further enhance these efforts -- it was important to align ourselves with a truly national, professional sales organization," he said. "With Acosta's help, we're confident we will accomplish this goal, expand our market penetration and take our sales to the next level."

    Under the terms of the partnership, Acosta will represent Lettieri's various product lines, including its Quick Stix stuffed breadsticks, Wrap Dogs!, Buenos Amigos empanadas and its full line of breakfast sandwiches, stuffed baguettes, calzones and gourmet sandwiches.

    Acosta, headquartered in Jacksonville, Fla., will have sales responsibility in the convenience channel throughout much of the United States. Lettieri's products are currently represented in more than 30,000 convenience stores in the United States.

    "Lettieri's is a brand that we’ve been watching grow for a number of years," said Acosta’s Vice President East Zone, Fred Rosen. "We can now offer our customers a wide variety of quality products to support their foodservice initiative. We are extremely proud to join their marketing team."
