Kwik Trip Raises Funds for Honor Flights

LACROSSE, Wis. -- Kwik Trip convenience stores will spend the next two weeks raising money for the Never Forgotten Honor Flights in its stores in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa, the Wausau Daily Herald reported.

Employees at all the Kwik Trip, Kwik Star and Tobacco Outlet Plus stores in those three states will ask customers if they would like to donate a dollar to the Freedom Honor Flight, which provides World War II veterans with a free trip to Washington, D.C. to see the World War II Memorial, the report stated.

Those who donate $1 or more to the cause will get to put their name on a paper icon, which will be displayed in the store.
