Kwik Trip Inc. Gets a New POS

LA CROSSE, Wis. -- Kwik Trip Inc. will equip its stores with the Radiant Systems point-of-sale software, Tiger Fuel Controllers and P1560 POS terminals, the company reported.

"Radiant Systems is not only a leader in developing innovative solutions for the convenience store industry, but it is equally focused on delivering the results we expect from our investment," Tom Colbert, director of information technology at Kwik Trip said in a released statement. "We are excited to work with the Radiant team and look forward to improving efficiencies within our operations and continuing to provide a great experience for our customers."

Radiant's open, proven platform provides Kwik Trip with a solution that can support future growth initiatives, including more advanced marketing capabilities, foodservice and car wash, and its software will allow Kwik Trip to incorporate each of these functions without sacrificing security or transaction speed, the vendor reported.

"Radiant's solution makes it quick and easy for c-store customers to complete transactions without operators having to sacrifice advanced marketing or compliance initiatives," Jimmy Frangis, vice president of the petroleum and convenience retail division at Radiant Systems said in a released statement. "We look forward to bringing our solution to Kwik Trip this year and supporting the company in its goal of providing outstanding customer service."
