Kum & Go Promotion Gives Away Harley Davidson

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- In celebration of the grand opening of its newest stores in southwest Missouri, Kum & Go, one of the nation’s leading convenience store chains, will give away a 2009 Harley Davidson Nightster motorcycle to one of its loyal customers, the company reported.

Ozarks Coca Cola and Dr. Pepper Bottling Co. donated the motorcycle for Kum & Go’s grand opening promotion.

"The Harley Davidson giveaway is a perfect opportunity for us to get to know our newest customers," said Meggan Kring, director of communications at the company. "We are thrilled to announce the opening of these stores and look forward to
serving the people of southwest Missouri."

Customers can register to win the Harley by visiting any Greater Springfield Kum & Go location from May 1-15, 2009. No purchase is necessary to enter the drawing.

Kum & Go purchased 37 Cody’s Convenience Stores on Feb. 9. With a total of 71 stores and nearly 300 associates, the Cody’s purchase makes Kum & Go the largest convenience store operator in southwest Missouri.

"By purchasing in bulk for our many stores, we are able to pass those savings along to our customers," said Kyle J. Krause, President and CEO. "At Kum & Go, we work hard to ensure that our customers get the best value possible, which is important to everyone during these hard economic times. Our customers know they can count on Kum & Go to provide quality products at an affordable price."

Kum & Go has acquired Cody’s locations in Battlefield, Bolivar, Clever, Fair Grove, Hollister, Joplin, Monett, Neosho, Nixa, Republic, Rogersville, Springfield, Waynesville, and Webb City, Mo. The company also assumed ownership of Cody’s eight car washes.
