“We made this name change to more directly reflect our core competencies and expertise in the fuels business, ranging from wholesale to retail. It therefore made sense to add the word 'Fuels' to our name, and more literally tie this expertise to our brand,” Bob Stein, president and CEO of KSS Fuels, said in a released statement.
KSS Fuels also introduced the new tagline “Knowledge beyond the numbers” to illustrate the company’s 20-plus years of research and math modeling techniques. Combined with the company’s 100-plus years of practical expertise to help fuel retailers and wholesalers analyze data to better understand their business, KSS Fuels offers a suite of solutions through its software, analytics and consulting services, the company reported.
But according to Stein, KSS Fuels is more than just a software company. “Our people, solutions and knowledge not only provide fuel pricing efficiency and expertise to our customers but also the ability to analyze, evaluate and recommend strategies and tactics to improve overall profitability,” said Stein. “We have the capability to provide ‘knowledge beyond the numbers’ when implementing our software or analytics or consulting services.”
