Kocolene Utilizes PriceAdvantage SMART Fuel Pricing

SEYMOUR, Ind. -- Kocolene Marketing selected PriceAdvantage's SMART Fuel Pricing software solution for all of its Fast Max convenience stores in Indiana and Kentucky.

Fast Max will use the technology solution to automate its entire fuel pricing process, including the collection of competitive surveys, sophisticated analysis for best price determination and rapid price change execution with price change confirmation feedback.

"Adding PriceAdvantage to automate our fuel pricing process gives us the structure to change prices more often and implement prices from headquarters to the store," said Lance Gentry, director of fuels and information technology Kocolene.

Chip Stadjuhar, CEO of Skyline Products, parent of PriceAdvantage, also voiced his enthusiasm for Kocolene choosing its fuel pricing software. "PriceAdvantage SMART Fuel Pricing is scalable for any size company, transforming fuel operations for our ever growing list of customers, ranging from 10 to 1000-plus stores," he said.

Seymour, Indiana-based Kocolene was founded in 1938. In addition to its Fast Max convenience stores, it also operates under the Smokers Host Discount Tobacco Stores, Ranger Enterprises and Komac Environmental banners.

Colorado Springs, Colo.-based PriceAdvantage's software solutions allow fuel retailers to collect competitive data, automate fuel price changes from the headquarters to the street, and more.
