Kangaroo Express to Offer Little Caesars Pizza

CARY, N.C. – Kangaroo Express is adding Little Caesars Hot-N-Ready pizzas and other menu items at select convenience stores in the Southeast. This marks the first time any Kangaroo Express stores have featured an on-premise Little Caesars carryout restaurant, the company said.

Customers who visit Kangaroo Express stores with a Little Caesars quick-service restaurant (QSR) can choose from the Hot-N-Ready Classic original round pepperoni or cheese pizza, Crazy Bread, Caesar Wings and other freshly made selections. Little Caesars large Hot-N-Ready pizzas are made with naturally aged mozzarella and Muenster cheese, dough made fresh daily in each store and sauce made with California vine-ripened tomatoes. Products offered on the Hot-N-Ready menu are hot out of the oven and ready to be carried out immediately after an order is placed.

Four Kangaroo Express stores in Hickory and Cornelius, N.C., Fruitland Park, Fla., and Vicksburg, Miss., have already recently opened Little Caesars carryout restaurants.

"Customers demand high standards for quality and service, and we're ready to exceed their expectations," said Ed Gleich, Little Caesars' senior vice president, global marketing. "Little Caesars quality Hot-N-Ready pizzas are ready for carry-out when our customers want them, with no waiting or need to call ahead to order. Customers can now simply visit a Kangaroo Express and a fresh, quality pizza will be waiting for them."

The expansion of Little Caesars into Kangaroo Express stores is part of Kangaroo Express' mission to provide even more fresh, quick-service options for guests on the go, the company said. The chain plans to open more QSRs in other locations and remodel more than 70 stores.

Kangaroo Express is a division of Cary, N.C.-based The Pantry Inc., which operates more than 1,550 stores in 13 states.
