Jones Soda Teams With Snowboarding Champion

SEATTLE -- Snowboarder Lindsey Jacobellis has joined Jones Soda Co. as part of its "Jones Athlete Team" and serve as a brand ambassador through appearances, sponsored gear and more, the company announced.

"The Jones Athlete Team is an unofficial group of athletes from all walks of life representing all different sports, who are at the top of their game," said Mike Spear, director of marketing for Jones. "Jones owes a lot of its success to the action sports culture, which is where our brand first became popular. The partnership with Lindsey is a perfect match and we're excited to bring some fun new promotions to our shared fans."

Jacobellis will make her first appearance as part of the two-year partnership this spring. In her career as a snowboarder, she is a three-time FIS Snowboarding World Champion and a seven-time gold medalist at the X Games. Past Jones Athletes include skateboarder Tony Hawk and surfer Benji Weatherly.

"A lot of my boarding friends and fans love Jones, so this was a very natural connection for me," said Jacobellis. She also noted that her favorite Jones flavor is Orange and Cream.
