Jackson Food Stores Joins Fight Against Domestic Violence

RENO, Nev. -- Jackson Food Stores and Nevada Network Against Domestic Violence have launched the second annual "Give the Gift of Peace" campaign, My4News.com reported.

The funds raised will go towards the Jan Evans Fund, which will grant 100 percent of the funds as direct financial support to domestic violence victims and their children, according to a news release issued by the network's executive director Sue Meuschke.

Jackson customers can purchase a paper dove for $1, and Jackson CEO John Jackson will match the contributions dollar for dollar up to $25,000, Meuschke stated.

Jackson Food Stores Inc. is headquartered in Meridian, Idaho and operates 150 Chevron/Texaco/Shell branded c-stores and eight quick service restaurants in four western states.
