POLAND, Maine -- Truck drivers along Routes 26 and 122 now have one more option to make a stop and fuel up. Perry Transport recently opened a truck stop with Irving Oil-branded diesel fuel in the area in a move that expands the regional brand to the community.
"Our company has been working in the community for 24 years, primarily focused on road maintenance. This is our first venture into the fueling business and we're very excited," Peter Perry said in a release. "We have been purchasing Irving fuel for as long as we've been in business. Now we are part of the family and can provide their high-quality diesel fuel to our customers. Irving has a tremendous amount of recognition in New England and we are proud to be associated with them."
In addition to the Irving-branded fuel, the Poland Springs Service Center offers overnight parking and full-service maintenance. The center sits at the junction of Routes 26 and 122, a major thoroughfare for truck traffic and commerce between Maine, New Hampshire and Atlantic Canada.
