Vendgogh, VeriFone Align to Promote Gas Island Vending

CARY, N.C. & SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Vendgogh LLC entered into a new long-term, strategic partnership with VeriFone intended to promote the sale of Vendgogh's patented gas island vending solutions to VeriFone's convenience store customers throughout the United States.

By combining forces, the two companies will enable VeriFone's c-store clients to sell both cold drinks and gas to customers at the fuel pumps with a single swipe of a credit card.

This long-term, strategic agreement expands on the previously announced integration support for Vendgogh's gas island vending solution. The two companies will combine their sales and marketing efforts to drive the market development of vending at the gas island.

"We share a common vision of a developing market for vending on the gas island" stated Dan Yienger, VeriFone's vice president of petroleum sales. "We think the time is right for something like this and we want to lead the way in enhancing the customer experience at the pump."

The companies expect the first release of this integrated solution this month.

"We are delighted to have VeriFone as a strategic partner in developing this exciting new market," added Vendgogh's vice president of business development Larry McAnallen. "Together we can transform the landscape of convenience store retailing, while dramatically enhancing the customer experience at the gas island."

Research indicates that 70 percent or more of all c-store customers buy only gas and more than 95 percent of customers who pay at the pump do not go into the store.
