Telvent's Fuel Ordering Platform Goes Mobile

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. -- Telvent GIT, S.A., unveiled its latest product, DTN Exchange Mobile, which allows users to access its DTN Exchange through mobile devices to make fuel buying decisions on the go.

According to a company release, escalating volatility in the fuel market in recent years has made it important for buyers and sellers to stay responsive to the market and remain on the lookout for advantageous opportunities. DTN Exchange Mobile enables fuel wholesalers to immediately react to buying opportunities in the market, via their mobile devices.

With the new program, users can view current offers, place market offers and manage bids. Additionally, Telvent DTN's deal confirmation process remains unchanged in the mobile version, with Telvent sending both buyers and sellers instant e-mail notifications for any transaction.

"An increasing number of Internet users are solely relying on mobile devices to obtain news and business information," said Ignacio Gonzalez, Telvent chairman and CEO. "Telvent is proud to introduce a new, industry-leading solution that makes the process of conducting business easier and accessible from anywhere."

The DTN Exchange is a fuels ordering and contracting platform used by both fuel buyers and sellers to gain efficiencies and streamline the buying process.
