Spartan Stores Features Charging Stations at New Location

WYOMING, Mich. -- Spartan Stores Inc. has joined the growing list of retailers who are reaching out to drivers of electric cars by installing charging stations at its 26th Quick Stop gas station, according to a Michigan Live report.

The Quick Stop, located in the Metro Health Village, is next to an under-construction Family Fare supermarket that will eventually allow electric car drivers to charge their vehicles while they shop for groceries. There will be no fee to plug in and charge, according to the report.

Spartan Stores operates nearly 100 locations in Michigan under the Quick Stop, Family Fare, Glen's Market, Glen's Fresh Market, VG's Grocery, VG's Fresh Market and D&W Fresh Market banners.
