PDI Hosts Annual Ideas Exchange

LAS VEGAS -- Over 100 convenience store retailers and petroleum marketers attended PDI's annual Idea Exchange on May 15-16, the company announced. PDI, which provides software, hardware and professional services to the c-store and petroleum industry, gave attendees the opportunity to discuss industry trends, future product innovations and collaborative solutions.

"This market presents unique requirements for PDI and its customers," said PDI President Greg Gilkerson. "No single person or entity has a monopoly on the knowledge needed to succeed through innovation. Therefore, it is vital that PDI continues our investment in technology that builds community and promotes the mutual exchange of ideas. If the goal is to be better than our competition, then the best way to accomplish this is by working together."

PDI also unveiled plans for new, interactive elements of its PDI Communications Web site, which will launch its PDI/Enterprise App Store this summer. The store will let customers post or purchase reports, along with other useful templates, according to the announcement. Additionally, a new consulting portal will let customers track consulting projects through all stages of development.
