NACStech Agenda Takes Shape

ALEXANDRIA, Va. -- Investor and social media advisor Paul Ollinger will serve as the opening general session speaker for this year's NACStech tradeshow for technology products and solutions in the convenience store industry. Additionally, registration has opened for the show, which will take place May 21-23 at Nashville, Tenn.'s Gaylord Opryland Resort.

Based out of Atlanta, Ollinger advises start-ups in the social media space and is the CEO of The Absolutely Huge Co. LLC. He has also held leadership positions at LAUNCH.com, Yahoo! and Facebook, where he served as West Coast vice president of sales. He will speak about the lessons he learned at Facebook and how a bold new vision can lead to success online or in the retail world, according to the announcement.

This year's NACStech event will feature two general sessions, concurrent CIO Roundtable sessions, more than a dozen focused workshops and 100 exhibits, with more than 1,200 attendees expected.

Past NACStech speakers have included author Malcolm Gladwell, members of the "Mythbusters" build team, and B.J. Fogg, professor in the Persuasive Technology Lab at Stanford University. As in past years, Convenience Store News will be the official media partner of NACStech.
