ALEXANDIRA, Va. — To combat the high turnover rate in the convenience store industry, NACS has partnered with REDTAIL to bring the NACS Background Check program to c-store operators.
The REDTAIL program incorporates background screening services from SecurTest and patented iReviewNow technology to offer c-store operators a Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) compliant and accurate background screening solution, according to NACS, the Association for Convenience & Fuel Retailing.
The NACS Background Check Program offers access to background screening solution with benefits including:

- Full transparency for the applicant, reducing the risk of potential litigation; and
- Access to the most Accuratized background reports.
According to 2015 NACS State of the Industry data, the convenience industry turnover rate for c-store sales associates climbed to 95 percent.
