Love’s Earns Accolades for Employee Training & Development Programs

OKLAHOMA CITY — Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores was named a Learning Elite company by Chief Learning Officer magazine for the third year in a row. The Oklahoma City-based retailer was the only fuel-based retailer named to the 2015 list.

This honor recognizes U.S. companies that have implemented best-in-class learning and development programs that have achieved a significant return on investment for the business.

Love's has partnered with Tulsa, Okla.-based Reliant since 2008 to administer its training and performance management program using the cloud-based Talent Management System.

“Love’s is committed to investing heavily in employee training and development programs,” said Drew Graham, the retailer's director of field services. “We provide best-in-class training opportunities for our team members. Our partnership with Reliant supports that commitment, and it’s an honor to be again highlighted as a Learning Elite company.”

The travel stop operator has tailored training programs for every position throughout the company, from frontline customer service to regional and divisional leadership. Employees are held responsible for completing training and have their performance systematically evaluated.

“Reliant has been fortunate to work with Love’s since 2008 and they have really maximized the potential of what talent management software can do. It is a great partnership,” added Reliant CEO Chris Wright.

Love's will be honored during an April 12 event at the Trump National Doral in Miami, Fla.

Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores was founded in 1964. The family-run business has more than 330 locations in 40 states.
