WEST MIFFLIN, Pa. — Liberty USA introduced its Smart Promo app, which enables the distributor to offer the latest news or limited-time offers to all of its convenience store customers.
The distributor-branded app, powered by Verge Retail's Verge Promote platform, is available for Android and iPhone devices, can be deployed within 30 days and requires no information technology integration.
“Smart Promo is an economical way to improve communication with customers and add value to our existing services,” said Gary McGuirk Jr., Liberty USA president. "What’s more, we presented Verge with tight implementation deadlines and they worked hard to help our launch be successful."
The Smart Promo app allows the distributor to offer push notifications to alert customers in real-time of limited-time offers or vendor-sponsored values. Retailers can choose what type of promotions they receive and easily place orders for their stores directly from the app.
In addition, retailers can provide instant feedback to the distributor, who can then respond in real time, as well as monitor ongoing order activity.
“With the deployment of Verge Promote, every Liberty USA customer now has access to new items and other time-sensitive information, which offers them tremendous sales and marketing opportunities,” said Carson Kuehne, Verge Retail's chief innovations officer.
