KickBack Sweetens Rewards With Points.com Partnership

TWIN FALLS, Idaho — KickBack Points is expanding its loyalty program by partnering with Points.com, a loyalty management network that allows consumers to keep track of their loyalty points from companies worldwide.

Cardholders’ points from hotels, airlines and retailers can be tracked, traded and exchanged all from one place. The program is free to join and there is no charge for transactions.

The KickBack Points program is currently deployed in more than 1,000 Phillips 66 sites, as well as 76 Conoco locations. Hundreds more locations are scheduled to come online throughout the first half of 2015, the Twin Falls-based company reported.

Customers using the KickBack card at a Phillips 66 site can now convert their points from other loyalty programs to KickBack points at any time. This means if a KickBack cardholder has expiring airlines miles, they can turn them into KickBack points, allowing members to accelerate the accumulation of points, which can be spent like cash at participating retailers nationwide.

“By partnering with Points.com, KickBack is able to enhance and expand our value proposition to both our retail partners and KickBack cardholders,” said Pat Lewis, CEO of KickBack Points. “There is a clear need for loyalty programs in the retail industry. However, rather than simply mimicking current programs, which will only lead to a competitive stalemate, it’s precisely this type of innovation that will drive a competitive advantage for retailers.”

Points.com has nearly four million users currently.
