JDA Software and Gladson Announce Strategic Alliance

PHOENIX and LISLE, Ill -- JDA Software Group Inc., The Supply Chain Company and Gladson announced a strategic alliance to provide combined services to their joint customers.

Additionally, Gladson's category and space management database services are now available in special package fee programs to JDA clients in all channels, including: grocery, drug, general merchandise and convenience stores.

As a result of the alliance, companies will be better able to more easily streamline their category management processes from the delivery of superior integration between JDA's industry-leading category and space management solutions and Gladson's comprehensive database of product information and images. This renewed alliance builds on a strong five-year working relationship forged by the two companies through the delivery of innovative solutions to the industry, the companies reported.

"One of the key offerings as the result of our alliance is the improved and streamlined delivery of product images into JDA's images library called PIIX," Mark Nation, group vice president of global alliances of JDA Software said in a released statement. "PIIX offers a more efficient and centralized product characteristic and image file storage update, maintenance and reporting capability and is closely integrated with the Gladson's delivery system. This integrated delivery of data to the category management community is available exclusively from Gladson for JDA Intactix Knowledge Base clients."

Sue Sentell, Gladson's president and chief executive officer, added: "By combining our unique strengths -- JDA's suite of category and space management software and Gladson's industry-leading database of complete, accurate and up-to-date product images and data -- this alliance will help accelerate the capabilities to our shared space management users."
