iSIGN Shares Results of Golden Pantry’s Smart Antenna Trial

ATLANTA — The use of smart antennas increased sales of advertised brands and proprietary Golden Pantry products by a range of 10 percent to 26 percent during a trial period.

According to iSIGN Media Solutions Inc., manufacturer of interactive mobile advertising solutions, trials with three major brands commenced in February, with a fourth brand starting in March at 38 Golden Pantry convenience stores in the Atlanta area. The installation was part of a partnership between The Convenience Network, Engage Mobile Media Solutions LLC and iSIGN. Among the advertised brands were Mars, Kellogg’s and Swisher Sweets.

The iSIGN Smart Antenna is an interactive, proximity-to-mobile marketing technology that enables brands to deliver targeted messaging, offers and loyalty perks to consumers' mobile devices on-location and in real-time. The Smart Antenna delivers messages on an opt-in basis at no charge to consumers’ mobile devices via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi technologies.

Meetings have been held with the national brands to review and discuss trial results. In these meetings, iSIGN said presentations were made on their expansion into the growing National Mobile Network in Marathon/National convenience store and gas station locations in Indiana and Ohio. Details of the existing locations, as well as for the additional 150 locations that have been scheduled for installation, are being gathered and delivered to the brands as they have requested.

In addition to negotiations with nationally known brands, iSIGN continues to negotiate with potential convenience store/gas station installation sites for its smart antennas.
