Gilbarco Certifies Kickback Points as First Applause Loyalty Partner

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Gilbarco Veeder-Root has certified Kickback Points with its generic loyalty interface for the Applause Media System. This marks the first time an embedded digital forecourt media solution that personalizes advertising and promotions is available to convenience retailers, according to Gilbarco.

The solution combines a personalized customer experience and targeted promotions based on consumer loyalty status and past purchase preferences with the couponing functionality of Applause. It allows mutual customers to take advantage of the technology to build loyalty and boost sales.

Using the Applause loyalty interface, the point-of-sale-independent solution also allows retailers to easily combine mobile couponing and social promotions directly from the pump, according to the announcement.

Gilbarco plans to continue to certify other top loyalty providers on the Applause Media System and Applause TV with Outcast, the company said. Applause Media with loyalty is available on Gilbarco Encore 700 S and 500 S dispensers with color screens.
