Gas Station Radio Tops 1,000 Locations

SAN FRANCISCO -- Gas Station Radio installations have surpassed the 1,000-location milestone.

According to DigiCast Networks, its Gas Station Radio has now been installed at 1,100 gas stations that reach 35.5 million adults aged 18-plus.

Gas Station Radio digitally delivers audio advertisements, music, news, weather and localized content at the pump. The programming appears in the top 13 populated U.S. markets, said DigiCast Networks.

"Gas Station Radio is a great way to reach people at the gas pump and as they go to and from the convenience store," said Chris Lanman, senior vice president at DigiCast. "We have a lot of flexibility in programming ads, content and music. For our client ads, we are able to take an existing radio spot, or create an audio spot at a low cost, and have it up and running within hours of creative approval."

DigiCast Networks is a division of Brite Media Group.
