Dash In Goes Digital With OpenStore

GAITHERSBURG, Md. -- Dash In Food Stores Inc. now offers customers a mobile app.

The La Plata, Md.-based c-store retailer, which operates 37 locations throughout Maryland, Delaware and the Tidewater, Va., region, recently integrated the OpenStore by GasBuddy platform. The digital marketing solution will provide Dash In the ability to reach drivers through a branded mobile app, individual store web pages, mobile coupons, and Facebook and Twitter social media pages.

"In the digital age of marketing, it is more important than ever to be able to connect with consumers on the go. Working with OpenStore allows us to do just that," said Michelle Reeves, Dash In's marketing and promotions manager. "We can develop a strategy to engage our customers and motivate them to come from the pumps into the store. It’s about building relationships and creating interactive customer experiences. Ultimately, we feel this partnership will help us achieve our goal, which is to build brand loyalty."

OpenStore allows businesses to concentrate on reaching and rewarding their customers instead of building and maintaining information technology systems, according to the company.

“We are thrilled to collaborate with Dash In and look forward to the possibilities that digital marketing strategies will provide them,” says Jason Toews, co-founder and CEO of OpenStore by GasBuddy. “OpenStore is a complete turnkey solution that will support Dash In's strategies to reach their customers with targeted marketing and powerful messaging.”

OpenStore by GasBuddy is a subsidiary of OPIS (Oil Prices Information Services) based in Gaithersburg, Md.
