Casey's Partners With OpenStore for Digital Strategy

ANKENY, Iowa — Casey's General Stores Inc. continues to innovate in the digital space, partnering with OpenStore by GasBuddy on its mobile app. 

With the motto, "Home is where the Casey's is," the new mobile app creates a digital home for the Casey's community. Using the app, consumers can navigate to their nearest Casey's location, check gas prices, find the latest deals and product offerings, and even order pizza directly from their smartphones. Additionally, users can play games and win exclusive prizes, according to OpenStore.

Ankeny-based Casey's unveiled its mobile app after implementing online ordering across its more than 1,900 convenience stores in 14 states in the Midwest. 

"Our mission is to always provide our customers with the most convenience and ease, so we are thrilled to offer a mobile app that will provide so much additional value," said Casey's Chairman and CEO Robert J. Myers. "We look forward to working closely with OpenStore and creating a more robust digital marketing strategy."

The partnership gives the retailer the tools to better learn about its customers' preferences and send targeted personalized messages designed to drive store traffic and increase sales, according to OpenStore.
