Royal Buying Group, Inc. has signed a multi-year agreement with Shell Oil Products US and Motiva Enterprises LLC to establish and conduct a convenience store buying club named STARZ (Shell Trading and Retail Zone) Buying Club, according to the company.
Royal Buying Group will provide convenience retailing services to all participating Shell branded channel partners in the form of marketing programs, rebate administration and promotion management, including Shell branded proprietary products and programs.
"Shell branded retailers use a proprietary website named Shell Source for their communication with Shell, and we wanted to enhance the site by creating an area that included both a convenience retailing communication center and a vendor and convenience retailing marketplace," said Chuck Ryan, manager of convenience retailing at Shell. "Shell retailers can increase their efficiencies by accessing Royal Buying Group's promotional products and services directly through the Shell Source portal."
STARZ is a virtual resource that provides Shell branded retailers and wholesalers with business information, communication tools and successful practices. The STARZ Buying Club also provides opportunities for buying benefits and vendor rebates on products and services that petroleum and convenience store operators commonly purchase.
