Pro Food Systems Embarks on Repositioning

HOLTS SUMMIT, Mo. — Pro Food Systems (PFS), the parent company of Champs Chicken and Cooper's Express, is introducing a new corporate umbrella brand, PFSbrands, with the tagline "Our Support. Your Success." This is part of its repositioning plan that includes a new strategy, new image, new focus and new enthusiasm.

The launch of PFSbrands is accompanied by a new website, www.PFSbrands.com, which features detailed information about hot food program options for convenience stores, grocery stores and distributors. PFSbrands includes the company's flagship brand Champs Chicken, Cooper's Express, numerous private-label brands and the recently expanded PFS Equipment Division.

The No. 1 focus of PFS is to provide fanatical customer support, the company said.

"Our company is successful because we have a fantastic team of employees that live by a solid set of core values. Our team places 100 percent of their attention toward enhancing the levels of support we provide our retailers to help them succeed and be profitable," stated Pro Food Systems CEO Shawn Burcham. "We are currently adding staff into a new customer success division that will help our committed retailers continue to grow their same-store sales."

Since starting in 1999, PFS has doubled revenue every three years and expects to grow at 20 to 30 percent for the next 10 to 20 years, according to the company.
