Kerry & Insight Beverages Merge to Form Kerry Convenience

LAKE ZURICH, Ill.  — Kerry completed its acquisition of Insight Beverages and the combined company is now known as Kerry Convenience.

The new company will serve the convenience channel, both in the United States and internationally, in the following ways:

  • Kerry Convenience will expand its portfolio and now offer these brands to the convenience channel: Insight Beverages, DaVinci Gourmet, Dolce, Island Oasis, Big Train Oregon Chai, Golden Dipt and Golden Ladle.
  • Kerry Convenience will direct its vast product ingredient portfolio and product development team to convenience channel operators and commissary suppliers to create differentiated food and beverage solutions.
  • Kerry Convenience will expand its expertise by leveraging the core competencies of both companies: culinary, food and beverage scientists, product researchers and developers, dedicated convenience channel sales team, and manufacturing capabilities.
  • Kerry Convenience will continue to focus on both beverages (hot, cold and frozen dispensed and made-to-order) and c-store foodservice.

Sharon Porter, director of marketing, noted the acquisition provides other benefits as well.

“We are bringing together a talented team of convenience and foodservice channel experts, culinary experts, mixologists, sensory testers, category specialists, food and beverage scientists, and convenience/foodservice channel researchers that are 100 percent dedicated to helping our customers,” Porter said.

Lake Zurich-based Kerry Convenience develops, manufactures and delivers taste systems, functional ingredients and integrated solutions intended to nourish consumers across the globe.

Kerry has more than 30 manufacturing facilities across the United States.
