Jiffy Mart C-store Offers New Car Wash Technology
WESTMINSTER, Md. -- Jiffy Mart's Airpark location here installed Autec EV-1 Soft Touch Combo Car Wash System, which includes multiple levels of soft touch friction, high pressure touchless, or a combination of both washes, the company reported.
During the designated car wash pass, the nozzles spray tires, wheels and rocker panels, while dispensing formulating foam and a pre soak pass applied via high pressure that adjusts to the vehicles length by the use of infrared photo eyes, according to the vendor. The system is also green-friendly, with the ability to reclaim the water.
There are four packages offered ranging from the Touchless Wash to the Ultimate Wash, and there is a 10-cent gaoline discount offered per gallon, up to 15 gallons on any wash purchase made at the fuel dispenser.
Jiffy Mart's parent company is Tevis Oil, and operates convenience stores exclusively in Carroll County including Westminster, Finksburg and Hampstead.
