C-store Veteran Joins Executive Leadership Solutions

FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Hap Howeth, a veteran of a number of convenience store and petroleum companies, joined Executive Leadership Solutions as senior executive recruiter.

"His previous experience as a c-store executive and executive recruiter is a great enhancement to our team. His intimate knowledge of the c-store and [convenience/petroleum/gasoline] industry brings another level of expertise to our organization," Executive Leadership Solution's Brian Wright said in a statement.

A native of Texas, Howeth held various part time and full time jobs in grocery, big box and convenience stores during high school and college. After he received his degree, he immediately started his retail management career in Woolco Department Stores and later became a store manager for Service Merchandise Co. He then joined 7-Eleven as a field representative, running territories in North Dallas and Richardson, Texas. After leaving 7-Eleven, he became a marketing manager, then area manager for E-Z Serve Corp.'s New Orleans market, the company said.

Howeth later served as vice president of operations for Griffin Express and as Clark Oil Co.' s director of marketing. He later became CEFCO Convenience Stores' regional store director.

Executive Leadership Solutions is an executive search firm that specializes in executive recruitment for the c-store, petroleum, travel center, ethanol, biofuels and related supplier industries.
