Agilence Loss Prevention Solution

The new loss prevention system by Agilence Inc. identifies both cashier shrink activities and operational, training and policy issues. The system enables retailers to optimize loss prevention staff and ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws, the manufacturer stated. Agilence combines point-of-sale data with the raw video through item-level synchronization, and includes an open standards-based network video recorder (NVR) and video management system (VMS). In addition, the Agilence system integrates with existing point-of-sale systems and video equipment. Agilence also boasts a team of analysts based in its headquarters, who are trained to identify all types of shrink at the point-of-sale, and complement in-house staff by identifying potential incidents and delivering them to the retailer, according to the company.
