AAFES Taps Deli Express for Top Honors
MINNEAPOLIS -- The Army & Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) presented Deli Express with its 2007 Vendor Partnership Award, which recognized the nation's largest supplier of hot and cold sandwiches for outstanding service.
"We are honored to be recognized by AAFES with its 2007 Vendor Partnership Award," Tom Sween, president of Deli Express, said in a statement.
AAFES, Deli Express' third largest customer, provides products and services to military families worldwide, generating funds that supplement military morale, welfare and recreation programs. Deli Express products are sold on AAFES' on-base Shoppettes. From 2006 to 2007, sales on food products increased by 44 percent, according to the company.
