NATIONAL REPORT -- Effective June 30, Thomas J. Hollister will retire from Global Partners LP as chief financial officer, chief operating officer and director. As a result, the board of directors of the partnership’s general partner, Global GP LLC, promoted Treasurer Daphne H. Foster to CFO and Mark Romaine, Global’s senior vice president, light oil supply and distribution, to COO.

Hollister, 58, joined Global Partners as CFO in July 2006 and was named chief operating officer in 2007. He was elected to its board of directors in 2009.

Foster, 55, joined the company in 2007 and was elected treasurer in 2010.

Romaine joined a predecessor company to Global Partners in 1998 as premium fuels marketing manager and became senior vice president, light oil supply and distribution, in 2006.

Waltham, Mass.-based Global Partners LP owns, leases or supplies fuel to approximately 800 locations.

Cybera Inc.
Cybera Inc. expanded its executive team by adding Greg Tennant as senior vice president of marketing and strategy, and Ron Robinson as senior vice president of sales.

Additionally, Cybera promoted Scott Wolfe to vice president of engineering.

With these appointments, Cybera is enhancing its executive team to better align management with its strategic transition and rapid growth.

F.A.B. Inc.
F.A.B. Inc. (Frosty Acres Brands) added James “Woody” Cheatham to its team as executive vice president, sales and marketing, effective March 18. Cheatham is responsible for the continued development of the F.A.B. membership and family of brands.

Cheatham brings more than 17 years of experience in foodservice leadership. Most recently, he was vice president of sales for US Foods' Atlanta Division.

The Hershey Co.
The Hershey Co. announced several changes to its global leadership team, effective May 13:

  • Humberto P. Alfonso will become president, International. He currently serves as Hershey’s chief financial officer and chief administrative officer.
     
  • David W. Tacka will become senior vice president and chief financial officer. Tacka has previously held senior executive positions within the company, including chief accounting officer.
     
  • Michele G. Buck, currently Hershey’s chief growth officer, will become president, North America.
     
  • E. Daniel Vucovich will become senior vice president, chief commercial officer. Vucovich currently leads Hershey’s U.S. business.
     
  • D. Michael Wege, currently chief commercial officer, will become senior vice president, chief growth and marketing officer. Wege will lead Hershey’s strategic planning, research and development, innovation and global Hershey Experience.

In addition, the company announced Waheed Zaman was appointed its senior vice president and chief administrative officer on April 29. Zaman will be responsible for optimizing Hershey’s information technology and global shared services functions as the company expands internationally.

SABMiller plc
SABMiller, which counts Pilsner Urquell, Peroni, Miller Genuine Draft and Grolsch among its brands, announced that Executive Chairman Graham Mackay has been diagnosed with a brain tumor and the company therefore has accelerated the planned promotion of Alan Clark to chief executive immediately.

Clark was appointed chief operating officer in July 2012 with a view to succeeding Mackay as chief executive in July after a transitional period of one year, when it was intended that Mackay would become non-executive chairman.

The company said it will keep Mackay's position under review pending the outcome of his treatment.

W.H. Bass Inc.
W.H. Bass Inc., a national builder of convenience store and fuel retail projects, named Brian Mulligan vice president of business development and marketing. In his role, Mulligan will be responsible for overseeing client relations, business development and marketing efforts.

Mulligan previously served as director of business development for Evergreen Construction and brings more than 30 years of industry experience to his new role.

Wilbur Curtis Co.
Wilbur Curtis Co., a manufacturer of commercial coffee and tea brewing systems, named Krista Reddington as manager of sales support and marketing.

She offers more than a decade of marketing experience, most recently with Melitta System Service.
