NATIONAL REPORT –- Ken Kramer joined The Cigarette Store Corp. (Smoker Friendly & Gasamat Oil Corp. of Colorado) as general counsel and vice president – administration.

As a shareholder of Berenbaum Weinshienk PC, Kramer has been Smoker Friendly’s outside legal counsel for the past 20 years. The company now welcomes him in a full-time capacity.

Alto-Shaam Inc.

Alto-Shaam Inc. named Ryan Norman as a corporate chef with the Alto-Shaam culinary team. With more than 15 years of culinary training and experience in the foodservice industry, Norman will, in his new role, support the development and execution of culinary education and product and technology seminars, as well as culinary research and development.

Further, he will contribute to the menu applications for all Alto-Shaam product lines, assist with culinary training and customer support, and create and contribute culinary content for Alto-Shaam’s social media outlets.

In other company news, Jesus Iglesias was recently appointed regional sales manager for the South Central Region. Iglesias has more than 15 years of experience in successfully developing distribution channels in the foodservice industry.

Iglesias is fluent in Spanish and has working knowledge of the Portuguese language. In his new role at Alto-Shaam, Iglesias will cultivate corporate sales growth strategies within his territory. He will also be responsible for executing Alto-Shaam's strategic objectives.

CHS Inc.

CHS Inc. recently named veteran food industry financial leader Timothy Skidmore as its new executive vice president and chief financial officer, effective Aug. 19.

Skidmore most recently served as vice president, financial planning and analysis at Campbell Soup Co., where he led financial planning and reporting for the company. Previously, Skidmore served as vice president of finance and strategy for Campbell North America, Campbell's largest operating division.

Skidmore will succeed David Kastelic, CHS executive vice president and chief financial officer, who in January announced his retirement effective Sept. 3.

Skidmore will be a member of the CHS senior leadership team and report to CHS President and CEO Carl Casale.

The Manitowoc Co. Inc.

Robert M. Hund will assume the role of president of The Manitowoc Co. Inc.'s foodservice segment, effective Aug. 1. Hund will report to Glen E. Tellock, chairman and CEO of the company.

Hund most recently served as an executive vice president of Manitowoc’s Crane Care division. In this role, he oversaw a global network of service and distribution centers for Manitowoc’s eight crane product lines across 19 countries.

Phillips 66

Phillips 66 named Karen C. Tripp vice president of communications and public affairs. Tripp will oversee corporate reputation and brand management, community and philanthropic investments, public policy, media engagement, and employee and digital communications.

Tripp has nearly 25 years of marketing and communications experience and most recently served as executive vice president for the Hartford Financial Services Group.

VideoMining Corp.

VideoMining Corp. appointed Jeff Friedlaender as president of shopper research.

The former president of Meyers Research Center brings to VideoMining extensive experience in shopper research and relationships with CPG and retailer clients.

Friedlaender will operate out of a branch office in the New York metropolitan area.

Rajeev Sharma, founder and CEO of VideoMining, emphasized that the addition of Friedlaender means an expansion of the company’s offering to integrate traditional data/methodologies with technology-driven quantitative behavior data/methodology.

Friedlaender spent his entire 30-year market research career with Meyers Research Center.
