SAVANNAH, Ga. -- Enmark Stations Inc. hired Tom Kelly as its new director of operations following the retirement of longtime director Jerry Morris. Kelly will oversee the company’s day-to-day field operations, including foodservice and maintenance functions.
Kelly's most recent position was division manager for Murphy USA Inc.. He has also served as director of operations for Breadbox Food Stores and senior operations/training and simplification manager for Pilot Travel Centers LLC.
Kelly graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in political science and holds multiple certifications, including Train the Trainer, Business Ethics, and Infrastructure Training. Additionally, he was a member of Murphy USA's Circle of Stars in 2010 and 2012 and Safety Coordinator of the Year at Pilot Travel Centers in 1998.
"I'm excited to be working with quality people at a quality company like Enmark," Kelly said.
Morris is retiring after more than 18 years as Enmark's director of operations and marketing. During his career, Morris was largely responsible for the conversion of Enmark kiosks to full-size convenience stores and oversaw the design of the stores, the company stated.
"We can't thank Jerry enough for his time and dedication to Enmark. He helped mold the company into what it is today. There isn't a facet of the company that Jerry hasn't helped improve, whether it be store design, marketing, operations, maintenance…the list goes on," said Enmark Vice President Houstoun Demere. "Not only does he have the utmost respect of the company, but also of his peers throughout the industry. He is a first-class individual and one Enmark is proud to have in our family. He leaves big shoes to fill and will surely be missed."
