While at Target, he received the MVP award for his notable contributions to training and team development. He also received the top contributor award for his ability to engage and improve team morale.

Prior to working at Target, Evans worked as a zone manager at The Pantry Inc., where he oversaw 95 stores and led a team of 10 district managers. While there, he was recognized for delivering outstanding store conditions and great operational results.

“We are thrilled to welcome Jim to the Parker’s family,” said Greg Parker, president and CEO of The Parker Cos., based in Savannah. “He brings innovative ideas and a wealth of experience to Parker’s and will be an invaluable asset to our customers.”

Evans earned a bachelor of science degree in business management from Canisius College. Originally from Buffalo, N.Y., he will be relocating to Savannah to work in Parker’s corporate offices.
