Love’s NASCAR Sponsorship Getting Extra Horsepower

STATESVILLE, N.C. -- Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores is revving up for an expanded partnership with Front Row Motorsports. The truck stop operator will sponsor Front Row's team in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series in 14 races this year featuring driver David Gilliland in his No. 38 Love's Travel Stops Ford.

For our 50th anniversary year, we are thrilled to be back in NASCAR in a bigger way with Front Row and David Gilliland.”

Last year, Love's teamed up with Front Row Motorsports and sponsored three races in the company's first venture into NASCAR. At the Talladega Superspeedway in May, Gilliland placed second and was able to maneuver his Love's Travel Stops Ford teammate David Ragan to the front of the field for a 1-2 finish.

“This partnership with Love’s is a perfect example of how our program works and why it’s so successful,” team owner Bob Jenkins said. “They got their feet wet last season, saw the benefits of a partnership with Front Row Motorsports, and now they’re expanding their involvement. And we couldn’t be happier that the No. 38 car has a principal sponsor who will be with us throughout the season.”

Gilliland also expressed his enthusiasm about Love's expanded sponsorship.

“This is a personal partnership for me,” said Gilliland. “My family and I travel in our motorhome all over, and we always stop at Love’s Travel Stops. We can always find one whenever we need one; they have everything we need and the service is great. We’re all excited that we’re going to be part of the Love’s family again for another year, and it’s going to be bigger and better.”

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season will open with the Daytona 500 in Daytona Beach, Fla., on Feb. 23. The race will be televised live on FOX at 1 p.m. ET. The Love’s Travel Stops Ford will also be on track throughout the “SpeedWeeks” leading up to the race, including the Budweiser Duels qualifying races, which will be televised live on Feb. 20 at 7 p.m. EST on FOX Sports 1.
