Cumberland Farms, Boston Celtics Partner for "Take-a-Shot" Contest

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. -- Cumberland Farms is offering customers the chance to win a shot of a lifetime. The Northeast convenience store operator is teaming with the Boston Celtics to give lucky fans the opportunity to win up to $25,000.

With the NBA season back in full swing, Cumberland Farms is urging customers to enter the "Cumberland Farms Take-a-Shot" contest. During 10 Celtics home games, a contestant will be randomly selected to participate in a three-point-shot contest on the parquet floor at the TD Bank Garden in Boston.

The contestant will win $500 for making the shot, and then get the chance to move back to the half-court line to take another shot worth $25,000. The select home games are: Jan. 20 and 27; Feb. 3, 7 and 15; March 2 and 9; and April 4, 11, and 24.

The contest will also award 10 qualifying prizes (one per drawing). Each qualifying winner will receive four tickets to a Celtics regular season home game, a Celtics T-shirt and Celtics hat in addition to the opportunity to participate in the on-court contest. Winners must use one of the four prize tickets for entry to the game in order to participate in the on-court contest.

The entry form can be found on the Boston Celtics' website. Anyone interested must be at least 18 years old and live within a 75-mile air radius of Boston to be eligible to enter, according to the official rules. Entry is open through April 17.
