NACS Builds Latin American Presence

ALEXANDRIA, Va. -- NACS, the Association for Convenience & Fuel Retailing has formed a partnership with The Murphy Group LLC for Central and South America as the association expands its Global Partner Program. The pact allows the association to enhance interactions with Latin American retailers and to share best practices through industry-specific events, regional reports and networking opportunities.

NACS' Global Partner Program brings together international retail and supplier members to help foster and leverage relationships across various regions of the world. These working relationships expose global partners to valuable marketing opportunities, best practices, regional issues and strategies for capturing new customers. NACS has entered into similar agreements with Insight Research for the European market and Jifeng Petroleum Consulting for the market in China.

"No other retail channel shares ideas the way ours does, and that has been true since our founding in 1961," said NACS President and CEO Hank Armour. "Our Global Partner Program facilitates the sharing of ideas and information on a more global level.

He added that The Murphy Group is widely known throughout Central and South America.
