WilcoHess Launches Fuel Rewards Program with Lowes Foods

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Lowes Foods has launched its new Fuel Rewards program for all its stores in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia, the company announced. Customers are now able to earn fuel discounts that can be redeemed at any WilcoHess or Lowes Foods gas station.

Shoppers will earn a 5 cent-per-gallon discount on fuel for every $100 they spend at Lowes Foods. The amount of discount that can be earned is unlimited and stackable; if they spend another $100, they can increase the discount to 10 cents-off-per-gallon and so on. "Customers are already spending money on groceries. Now they can turn those purchases into lower gas prices," said Heather George, vice president of sales and merchandising for Lowes Foods. "That's the kind of savings that will make your day."

Lowes Foods Fuel Rewards was previously available at only 20 Lowes Foods stores, most of which are nearby a Lowes Foods gas station, but the supermarket chain has partnered with WilcoHess to provide redemption at more than 200 WilcoHess fuel centers in addition to many more Lowes locations.

"We are thrilled to be able to partner with WilcoHess, another North Carolina based company, to provide a new way for our customers to save money," said Steve Hall, president of Lowes Foods. "Two companies working together means everybody wins."

To participate in the rewards program, customers should pick up a new Fresh Rewards loyalty card at a Lowes Foods or contact Lowes Foods Customer Care at (888) 537-8646. The new cards have a magnetic strip that allows users to swipe or scan the card at the fuel pump to receive their discount.
