Rutter's Breaks Ground on Largest Store to Date

MOUNTVILLE, Pa. -- Rutter's Farm Stores recently broke ground on its largest store to date. The 6,280-square-foot store will open in late June and is expected to create 40 new jobs, according to the c-store retailer.

The new store will be open 24 hours a day and will feature an espresso bar, 12 gas fueling spaces and five high-speed truck diesel fueling spots, as well as seating for 20 and free Wi-Fi.

In addition, the store will offer the extensive menu that earned Rutter's the 2012 CSNews Foodservice Retailer of the Year Award, and recognition for the Best Coffee and Best Quick-Service Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner categories in the York Daily Record's 2012 Best of York reader's poll. Rutter's locally-sourced milk has been voted No. 1 in the Best of York poll for 10 consecutive years.

Rutter’s Farm Stores is a York, Pa.-based third-generation, family-owned business. With this new store, Rutter’s will operate 58 convenience stores throughout central Pennsylvania.
