Rutter's Awards Three Years of Free Gas
YORK, Pa. -- Rutter's Farm Stores recently awarded North York, Pa., resident Kathy Wallick with its first grand prize from its Fuel Up Free! Gas giveaway promotion -- three years of free gas.
Wallick doesn't consider herself lucky, and her family members won't touch her lottery tickets, afraid of becoming unlucky, according to the company. But with this prize, Wallick's luck has turned.
"It's going to be great," Wallick said in a statement, noting that she has been spending more than $60 every two weeks to fill up her Dodge Stratus.
Rutter's formally presented the prize to Wallick with an event yesterday morning at its store in Manchester Township, Pa. Wallick was joined by her husband, Paul, and sons Dannon, Dakota and Devon, according to the company.
Rutter's gas giveaway began May 26 and continues through Aug. 24, 2008.
During the promotion, four customers will win free gas for three years. The remaining grand-prize drawings are scheduled for July 14, Aug. 4 and Sept. 15, 2008.
