Quick Chek Promises to Hold Line on Product Prices

WHITEHOUSE STATION, N.J. -- Quick Chek, the chain of more than 125 convenience store locations throughout New Jersey and the southern New York metro area, today announced it will not raise prices on a select variety of its fresh food and coffee offerings.

In response to an anticipated rise in consumer goods costs this year, and as a part of the company's value promise and dedication to exceptional customer service, the c-store chain said its prices on the following fresh food offerings will not be raised:
• $2.99 six-inch sub -- multiple varieties, including the popular Original Italian sub.
• 99-cent Sausage, Egg & Cheese on an English muffin breakfast sandwich with any coffee purchase -- available every morning.
• Half Price Happy Hour -- the chain also announced resumption of its popular afternoon half-price fountain soda promotion.

"In this struggling economy, we know our customers are trying to get the most out of every dollar they spend,' stated John Schaninger, Quick Chek's vice president of sales and merchandising. "As a testament to Quick Chek's mission of Total Customer Dedication and providing top-quality products made from the freshest ingredients at an affordable cost, we continue to sell our fresh food and fresh coffee offerings at these outstanding value prices."

Quick Chek currently operates more than 125 retail locations in New Jersey and southern New York. Its locations include 12 pharmacy stores and 29 locations with fuel.
