PCATS Showcases TurboPCI at 2009 Conference

ALEXANDRIA, Va. -- TurboPCI Inc, a Division of The Compliance and Audit Group and member of PCATS, joined the Association for Convenience & Petroleum Retailing (NACS) and PCATS as a proud sponsor of the one-day in-depth Payment Card industry (PCI) Compliance Planning Seminar on Monday, Jan. 26, at the 2009 PCATS Annual Conference in Orlando.

The seminar features PCI compliance subject matter experts James W. Huguelet, payment architect of W. Capra Consulting Group and its president, and senior security strategist, Rick Dakin, of Coalfire Systems Inc. The program is open to all industry retailers regardless of their membership in PCATS.

To complement the industry PCI Data Security Standard (DSS) education track, Dr. Suzanne Miller, president of TurboPCI will deliver the luncheon presentation, TurboPCI Compliance: Take Charge, Empower Yourself, from 12:15 to 1:00 p.m. Dr. Miller is a recognized educator in e-learning and an expert in information assurance and security with more than 25 years of experience.

“TurboPCI offers products that are developed by educators who are trained in the PCI DSS requirements by PCI Security Standards Council. They are easy to use, easy to understand and easy to implement for PCI DSS compliance,” said Dr. Miller. “These are challenging times for retailers. PCI is requiring them to comply with a set of requirements that are written for computer professionals and not easy to understand. TurboPCI can help retailers meet this challenge by providing them with the step-by-step educational resources that will empower retailers to take charge."

The credit card industry requires all merchants to be PCI DSS compliant and report their compliance yearly to merchant services. TurboPCI is an online portal, customized to the compliance needs of the customer, mentors and guides the customer through the each step necessary for PCI DSS compliance.
