Open Pantry Selects New VP, Controller

PLEASANT PRAIRIE, Wis. -- Open Pantry Food Marts of Wisconsin Inc. has selected an in-house candidate for vice president and controller. Justin Borchardt is taking over the role after nine years with the company. He previously held several positions including internal auditor and financial analyst. Most recently, Borchardt served as accounting manager.

In his new position, Borchardt will be responsible for overseeing the accounting functions and internal controls at the highest level of management, according to the company.

Borchardt received a bachelor's of art degree in both accounting and business from Carthage College in 2003.

Open Pantry Food Marts of Wisconsin recently sold 19 locations to 7-Eleven Inc. and continues to operate eight core locations in southeast Wisconsin. The convenience store company plans to strategically reposition its many proprietary Open Pantry brands for a 2013 rollout, as CSNews Online previously reported.
