NOCO Express Expands East of Rochester

TONAWANDA, N.Y. -- NOCO Express, a family-owned and operated gasoline/convenience store chain based here, is expanding eastward with its purchase of the Acorn Markets store on Route 63 in Wayland, N.Y.

The acquisition marks the retailer's entry into New York's Steuben County.

"We continue to enhance NOCO's presence outside of the immediate western New York community and expand our Express store portfolio to communities east of Rochester," said Michael F. Newman, executive vice president of operations for NOCO Energy Corp. "The addition of this new Wayland location brings the total number of Express stores to 34 and we are looking forward to showcasing all NOCO has to offer to Steuben County's on-the-go customers."

The new 3,000-square-foot NOCO Express store is scheduled for a complete renovation over the next several weeks to better serve customers. The store and the Subway restaurant inside will remain open during the renovations. The fuel station located in the parking lot adjacent to the store will also become NOCO branded.

The hours of operation are 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week, for the c-store store and fueling station. The Subway restaurant is open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

In addition to its convenience stores, NOCO Energy Corp. offers natural gas and energy services to commercial and residential customers throughout Steuben County.
