NOCO Express Donates More Than $2,000 to Food Bank of Western NY

TONAWANDA, N.Y. -- NOCO Express Storespresented the Food Bank of Western New York with a donation of $2,126 to feed those in need during the holiday season.

NOCO gathered the money by donating 10 cents from every cup of Nickel City Roast Coffee sold from Nov. 14 to Nov. 30 at its 32 locations.

The Food Bank of Western New York collects and distributes 1 million pounds of food to 100,000 people in need per month, scattered throughout affiliate agencies in Erie, Niagara, Cattaraugus and Chautauqua counties.

"This is the second year NOCO has partnered with the Food Bank of Western New York to donate a portion of our Nickel City Roast Coffee Sales to help feed those most in need in our community," said Michael F. Newman, NOCO's executive vice president. "Fighting hunger in Western New York is important 365 days a year, but the need is especially great during the holidays."

Mike Belloni, marketing and public relations director for Food Bank of Western New York, added it greatly appreciated the donation. "It will go a long way to helping us with our goal of eradicating hunger," he said.
