Love’s Moving Beyond Interstates With New Store Model

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores debuted its new model travel stop, which marks the company's expansion beyond interstates to major highways.

The Oklahoma City-based retailer opened the doors to its new travel stop on U.S. Highway 385 in Andrews, Texas, on March 13. The new store is the first of its kind for the travel stop company and its location allows more professional drivers and travelers to have 24-hour access to Love's amenities and services, according to the company.

"Andrews is an ideal place to introduce the new concept," said Greg Love, co-CEO of Love's. "Our loyal customers operate all over the country and they've indicated [that] gaps in driver services and amenities exist beyond the interstate system. The introduction of this new model allows Love's to offer the 'Clean Places, Friendly Faces' Love's is known for to more hardworking drivers on the nation's highways."

The Andrews location features an efficient design and offers 48 truck parking spaces, a McDonald's restaurant, gourmet coffee, name-brand snacks, fresh fruit, and gift merchandise. Bulk diesel exhaust fluid will be available at the pump at all diesel lanes, along with RFID cardless fueling technology, CAT scales, five showers and other amenities to serve professional drivers.

For a limited time, professional drivers can earn up to five points with their My Love's Rewards loyalty cards at all Love's locations.

Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores is a family-owned and operated company with more than 310 locations and 180 Love's Truck Tire Care centers in 39 states. Love's opens approximately 20 new stores a year.
