Kwik Trip Employee Allegedly Steals $141,000
LA CROSSE, Wis. -- Police here arrested a former Kwik Trip employee earlier this week for allegedly stealing $141,555.76 from the company, CSNews Online has learned.
According to police reports provided to CSNews Online from Kwik Trip communications leadership and development official John McHugh, former zone leader Craig A. Groskreutz submitted 15 fraudulent invoices to the company over the course of two years, which were paid by Kwik Trip. Groskreutz was released from Kwik Trip three weeks ago, McHugh told CSNews Online.
The company noted on the invoices was Dolly's Crafts Gifts and Memories, according to police reports.
No charges have been filed as of presstime. McHugh said it will be a week before it will be known if there will be charges against Groskreutz.
