GasStations.com Directs Consumers to Nation's Cheapest Gas Stations

ST. LOUIS -- With presidential hopefuls arguing about the best way to provide relief at the pump this summer season, it comes as no surprise that a recent national survey indicates that 44 percent of Americans say that paying close to $4 for a gallon of gasoline is a "serious problem."

GasStations.com, a partner of Convenience Store News, is doings its part to assist consumers by adding an interactive feature to its Web site that provides a list of the cheapest gas prices by zip code.

"GasStations.com is the only destination on the internet entirely devoted to the community of gas station and convenience store owners, operators, and now, consumers," the site's founder, Terry Monroe, said in a released statement. "The addition of this interactive data adds a tremendous and much-needed resource to users of our site, and gives us the opportunity to reach out to fuel consumers as well."

GasStations.com is a free online marketplace where buyers and sellers participate in the commercial exchange or resale of gas stations and convenience stores, a one-stop online location for all things related to the industry.

Tinbu, a technology company that specializes in creating interactive data, supplies the content, noted Monroe, who added that other features of the website include daily horoscopes and weather forecasts.
